This year marks the 101st anniversary of the first graduating class from the Geneseo Consolidated School. There were four graduates that year.

Through the years, the school and district underwent several changes including a new addition to the school built and dedicated in April of 1955. The first class to graduate in the new addition was the class of 1955 with 13 graduates.

The last Geneseo graduating class was in 1966 with 16 graduates, after which the building was used as a junior high and elementary school as part of the Dysart Geneseo Community School until the school year ending in 1982.

The Geneseo Alumni Association was formed and held its first banquet in the spring of 1938. The last annual banquet was held in 2019 due to Covid 19.

This year the banquet will be held at the Geneseo United Methodist Church in rural Buckingham. Invitations are currently in the mail. Alumni, students, school personnel, etc. are invited to attend.
