BUCKINGHAM – This year marks the 101st anniversary of the first graduating class of the Geneseo Consolidated School. The Geneseo Alumni Association held a banquet to mark the occasion on June 10 at the Geneseo United Methodist Church in rural Buckingham. There were 54 alumni and guests in attendance representing 15 different classes with the oldest classes being 1950 and 1951. The class of 1964 had the largest representation. Four past staff attended as well. Alumni came from Illinois, Nebraska, Minnesota, Georgia, Nevada, and California. The evening was spent reminiscing and enjoying each other’s company.
