The Traer Public Library will have quilts on display in memory of Cynthia Stary Drajna through August 15. Drajna passed away unexpectedly in March of this year. She had been the leader of the library’s Quilting Group for nearly 10 years. Drajna published the book “Gather ‘Round the Table: Iowa Star Designs,” a collection of 12 table runner patterns which is available for check out at the library. The display not only includes quilts made by Drajna but also by members of the quilting group using her patterns. Stop in to see this lovely display dedicated to Drajna upstairs in the library.
