TRAER – As Ripley United Church of Christ looks toward regrowth and renewal in the months and years to come, Jim Coppoc has been selected to lead these efforts. Jim is a graduate of United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, with a long record of both pulpit and music ministry. Jim’s “day job,” as Director of Integrated Health at Center Associates in Marshalltown and Toledo, involves breaking down barriers to mental health care for children and adults with serious mental illness.

An open house and potluck will be held at Ripley UCC (400 S. Main Street) on Sunday, November 5 from 10 a.m. to noon. Community members are welcome to come and share food and fellowship with Ripley members, meet Jim in person, and tour the renovated parsonage. Attendees are welcome to bring a side dish, but your presence is what is most important.
