WAVERLY – Wartburg Players, a student-run theater organization at Wartburg College, will present “Cheaper by the Dozen” on Nov. 10 and 11 with Becca Payne of Dysart playing Mrs. Gilbreth/Mother.

The shows begin nightly at 7 p.m. in McCaskey Lyceum in the Saemann Student Center. Tickets are $10 for community members and free for students with a Wartburg ID. They will be available at the door.

Based on the book by Frank B. Gilbreth Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey, “Cheaper by the Dozen” tells the story of the Gilbreth family. Their inventor father, who is well-known for bringing better efficiency to factories, keeps his family of 12 children running just as efficiently.

Wartburg College, a four-year liberal arts college, enrolls about 1,500 students.
