Traer Historical Museum adds holiday hours

TRAER – The Traer Historical Museum will be open Friday afternoons from 1 to 5 p.m. from November 24 through December 29, 2023, for self-guided tours. A museum board member will be on-site to answer questions. Check out the many displays, historical items, documents, and photos in this award-winning museum dedicated to telling the story of Traer and northern Tama County!
For guided tours, please call the museum at (319) 478-2346 to set up a time for a tour. Let us know how many people will be in your group, particular areas of interest and whether the group is made up of youth, adults or a mixture of ages and a museum volunteer will take your group through the museum.
