DYSART – During Dysart’s Centennial (1983), Ted Nass was recognized for his pure white beard and had received a trophy.

In Dysart’s Sesquicentennial (2023) – celebrations for which officially took place this past July – Tim Nass, grandson of Ted, received recognition for having a similar pure white beard like his Grandfather’s, 50 years ago.

Tim is retired from the U.S. Coast Guard and now lives in Dubuque.
