TOLEDO – Few ventured out into the cold blowing snow of last Monday morning for the Jan. 15 Tama Co. Board of Supervisors meeting.

County Engineer Ben Daleske wandered out of the white abyss to give his report, saying that they were out plowing snow and had gotten the paved routes open. They were currently working towards getting the gravel roads cleared. The engineer also had a utility permit for T47 for the supervisors to approve.

The supervisors approved a slew of reports from various departments. These were the Treasurer’s semi-annual report, the Recorder’s quarterly report, the Auditor’s quarterly report, and the VA’s quarterly report.

Other than reporting that all the reports were all reported and approved, the supervisors set some public hearings. Three public hearings were officially set to approve the new precinct map: Jan. 22, 23, and 24, all at 9:45 a.m.

Claims totaling $99,303.58 were approved.
