TOLEDO – At last week’s Tama County Board of Supervisors meeting, the engineer reported working on blading, brush cutting, and putting rock down during this nice weather we’ve been having. Contract rock hauling will be starting soon. The engineer also had a new dust control policy approved with minor changes.

Also approved was a bridge construction agreement with the city of Toledo after a grant from the state was approved for $1.5 million.

The supervisors approved moving auditor accounts from the State Bank of Toledo to the Lincoln Savings Bank.

Also approved was the date for a proposed property tax notice hearing for April 1 at 8:30 a.m.

Claims totaling $201,869.99 were approved.
