TRAER – Since 1948, St. Luke Lutheran Church has been gathering for worship in Traer, Iowa. The church began with 28 charter members and was served by Rev. U. F. Groth from Dysart.

The building, still used today, was initially purchased in 1950 for a mere $1,345 and moved from Blairstown, 45 miles away, to its current location.

In celebration of our 75th anniversary, St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church invites all to attend our worship service and lunch on Sunday, July 14, 2024. The service begins at 10:30 a.m. with a meal to follow.

You are welcome to bring photos or news clippings of past events for all to view.

Mark your calendars and plan to attend. We look forward to seeing all of you!

St. Luke Ev. Lutheran Church is located at 207 Taylor St., Traer, Iowa.
