DYSART – Dysart’s summer tradition returned last Friday, July 19, when the Dysart Development Corporation (DDC) hosted its 22nd annual Car, Truck & Bike Show. The event is growing in size, popularity and scope with 161 entries this year.

“Our goal every year is to grow the selection of vehicles that have never been to our show before and it’s a great opportunity to bring people to downtown Dysart,” DDC President Nicole Taylor said. “The car show has built a reputation as a destination for motor enthusiasts as well as a great family evening out. Something important to note, the DDC donates all sponsorship and entry money from the car show to organizations in the Dysart community. In the last few years, donations were made to the Dysart Fire, Ambulance and Fire Departments, the DG Elementary School Playground Project, and nonprofits Frontlines United and Pink Heals Eastern Iowa.”

Awards were chosen by committee members and presented to the Best of Show winner as well as Top Motorcycles, Top 2000-Present, Top Two Unfinished, Top Two Rat Rods. The Top 40 winners were chosen by registrants in the car show.

In all, 53 trophies were handed out. Winners are listed below in no particular order.
