CLUTIER – Ladies met on May 6, 2025, at the post home in Clutier from the Hora-Machacek Legion Auxiliary. No formal meeting was held due to the number of members in attendance.

Diane reported there were 94 students at Government Day. Workers from our unit were Diane C, Collette W, and Linda D. Julia B. made four dozen cookies for lunch. IVH bingo was on April 16, and Diane C. and Linda D. helped.

On Saturday, May 24, Legion and Auxiliary will be placing trellises on deceased Auxiliary members’ graves and crosses on deceased Legion members’ graves. Will meet at 9 a.m. at the Legion hall. Have four cemeteries to decorate, so we need many hands to make the decorating go easily for everyone.

On Monday, May 26, the Legion will go to each cemetery to honor the deceased Veterans beginning at 8:30 a.m. with a flag raising at the Legion hall.

Our monthly June meeting will be on the 3rd at Pizza Ranch in Grinnell. Will meet at noon and dutch treat for their buffet. Carpooling is planned. Meet Diane and Collette at 11 a.m. at the Legion hall. Can give Diane or Collette a call if planning on going so as not left behind. Monthly meeting will be after lunch at Pizza Ranch.

Tama County joint meeting to be June 24, at Tama post home beginning at 6 p.m. Potluck, flag disposal ceremony, and meeting to be held.
