TRAER – The Traer Historical Museum’s monthly Remember and Reminisce (R&R) gathering will take place on Saturday, July 5, beginning at 10 a.m. due to the Fourth of July holiday falling on Friday.

This month’s R&R will be a special one as the children of Ray and Yvette Berner will be at the museum to view items their family has donated to the museum, including photos taken by Ray.

Another special treat, Jared and Marilyn Bauch will narrate a slideshow of photos showing the development of Traer’s Carl and Evelyn Wilson Nature Preserve since its establishment in 1990. Mr. Bauch was instrumental in setting up a group and acquiring a couple of acres for the prairie from the Wilson estate.

R&R gatherings are free and open to the public; no sign-up required.
