Wulf to chair ag committee

DES MOINES – State Rep. Derek Wulf (R-Hudson) is among the Republican lawmakers whose committee leadership assignments are changing for the upcoming legislative session which begins Jan. 12, 2026. He will now chair the Agriculture Committee after previously chairing Natural Resources. Wulf represents Iowa House District 76, covering portions of Black Hawk, Tama, and Benton counties including the communities of Traer, Dysart, and Buckingham.
Per a press release issued on Thursday, Oct. 9, House Speaker Pat Grassley (R-Hartford) announced the following changes to appointments for House committee chairmanship positions.
