TRAER – The Traer American Legion Auxiliary held their October meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 18. This was the day after a delicious Holiday Dinner provided by the Traer Legion.

That afternoon, Marguerite Hulme and Mary Karls joined Donna Kersten at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. They helped entertain the monthly Ladies Social.

Upcoming events were discussed and members signed up to participate at the following:

-Thursday, Dec 4: American Red Cross Blood Drive to provide treats and work in the canteen

-Saturday, Dec 6: Gift wrapping table at Holiday Happenings in the Memorial Building. We will wrap things people purchase at the Craft Show or gifts brought from home. All for a Donation.

-Saturday, Dec 13: Annual Christmas Cheer Project packing goodies members have brought and delivered by the Legion for families in the community of active military and those in need of cheer during the Holidays.
