Traer Nostalgia: Photos from the Traer Historical Museum

PHOTO COURTESY OF THE TRAER HISTORICAL MUSEUM

Donna Scott standing in her Heider Coaster wagon at the Beulah and Nina Wetzel’s house around 1939. The Wetzel home was torn down to make way for the Traer Post Office. Many houses on the south side of First Street are there today. Donna was the daughter of Kelvin and Frances Scott. She enjoyed showing horses with her father when she got older. The Heider Coaster wagon was manufactured at Carroll, Iowa by the same company that built Heider wagons for farm use.
