Historical Society to host Iowa Broadcasting program April 8 at Wieting Theatre

TOLEDO – The Tama County Historical Society will host a program on the people and places of Iowa Broadcasting on Wednesday, April 8, at 6:30 p.m. at the Wieting Theatre, 101 S. Church St, Toledo.
The program will be given by Jeff Stein, author of the book “Making Waves: The People and Places of Iowa Broadcasting.” An award-winning author, historian, and broadcaster, Stein shares the groundbreaking story of how radio and television developed in Iowa and shaped life across the nation. The presentation features original broadcasts, photographs, and memorabilia, while inviting audience members to reflect on their own memories of Iowa.
This event is free and open to the public.
