TRAER — After receiving overwhelming support last year, the Traer Lions Club announced it will again offer “Flags Over Traer” to community members in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary this year.

For an annual fee of $50, Lions Club members will post a flag on participating properties up to five days prior to the following holidays: Memorial Day, Flag Day, July 4, Labor Day and Veterans Day. Following each holiday, the flag will be taken down.

All money raised by the Traer Lions Club is used to support community projects, scholarships, and charitable donations.
