TOLEDO – Supervisor David Turner (R-Tama) telecommunicated from Sicily to attend last week’s Tama County Supervisors meeting Monday, April 13. You couldn’t see him, but you could hear him a few-second delay behind the rest.

The meeting started out with two Windstream utility permits being approved.

A Farmers Cooperative Telephone Company Utility Permit was approved.

The Sheriff’s Quarterly report, Recorder’s Quarterly report, and the Zoning Quarterly report were all approved.

The 2026 Tama County weed resolution was approved.

The updated Salt Creek Wind 1 Decommissioning plan was approved.

Claims totaling $218,098.71 were approved, along with $99.45 in claims for the health account.
