CLUTIER – The Clutier Hora-Machacek Legion Auxiliary Unit 453 met on Tuesday, June 2, at the Pizza Ranch in Grinnell. There were six members present. After a great meal, President Veronica Pavlicek called the meeting to order at 1 p.m. Those present were Veronica Pavlicek, Collette Wiebbecke, Linda Dvorak, Julia and Margaret Babinat and Diane Caloud.

Minutes of the May meeting were read and approved as corrected. The Treasurer’s report was given and approved.

Those helping to decorate the graves of deceased veterans and auxiliary members on May 23 were Collette Wiebbecke, Diane Caloud, Carolyn Bohnstengel, Jennifer Hulme, Steph Kupka and five young helpers. Those going around with the Legion on Memorial Day were Collette Wiebbecke, Diane Caloud and Margaret Babinat.

Reminder to everyone that the county meeting will be on June 23 and will be held in Clutier. Potluck at 6 p.m. followed by Flag Disposal and then the meeting.
