Dysart Night Out Rescheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 18
DYSART, IOWA – Due to Tuesday’s storms, the Dysart Chamber of Commerce and Dysart Police Department have rescheduled the 3rd Annual Dysart Night Out to Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 6-8 p.m. at Dysart City Park.
The free community event will feature everything families were looking forward to, including inflatables, games, emergency vehicles, music, food, giveaways, local organizations, and plenty of opportunities to meet the people who help keep our community safe.
“We know many families were disappointed when the weather forced us to postpone the event,” Chamber President Nicole Taylor said. “We’re grateful for everyone’s understanding and excited to welcome the community back on August 18 for an evening of free family fun.”
Officer Jeremy Stenda of the Dysart Police Department said Dysart Night Out is about more than activities.
“This event is all about bringing the community together,” Stenda said. “Whether you’re meeting a first responder, catching up with neighbors, or just enjoying a fun night with your family, we hope you’ll join us.”
Admission and all activities are free thanks to the support of local businesses, organizations, sponsors, and community partners.
