Euna E. Sebetka, 88

Euna Ellyn Sebetka was born on June 12, 1926, in Dike, Iowa, the daughter of Julius and Methea (Krog) Henningsen. She attended Dike High School and graduated with the class of 1944. Euna then began working at Viking Pump and Rath Packing in Cedar Falls. On June 3, 1953, she was united in marriage to Frank Sebetka at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Cedar Falls. Euna helped Frank on their farm near Traer for many years. After retiring in 1995, the couple moved to Traer. Euna loved flowers, crocheting and spending time with her family. She was a genuinely sweet person of great faith and was truly devoted to God. She never had an unkind word to say about anyone and would help out however needed. Euna died at the age of 88 on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Robert; a daughter, Judith Marie; two sisters, Lauretta and Beulah; and a brother, Etlar. Euna is survived by a son, James (Tammy) Sebetka of Traer; a sister; two grandchildren; a great granddaughter; and a daughter in law.
