Barbara Whitesell

Barbara Lee Whitesell, 72, passed away at her home in Broken Arrow, OK on May 14, 2020.

Barbara was born in Hampton, IA, the daughter of Roger and Betty (Goodenberger) Corbin. She graduated from North Tama High School in Traer, IA. and from College of Cosmetology in Iowa City, IA.

She was united in marriage to Thomas Whitesell at the Traer United Methodist Church in June 1972.

Survivors include two sons, Matthew and Benjamin (Amber) of Broken Arrow, six grandchildren, her parents, Roger and Janice (Shroyer) Corbin of Traer, IA. and four brothers, Mick (Barb), Dennis, and Paul (Kathy) Corbin and Don (Barb) Shroyer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jo, in 1959, her husband in April 2013, sister Rella Jean Shipman, brother, James Shroyer and sister-in-law, Lois (Konicek) Corbin.

Barb was a dedicated wife and mother. She has a strong faith and is missed by many. Memorial services were held on June 19 in Broken Arrow, OK.
