Caroline Marjorie Kolpek

TRAER — Caroline Marjorie Kolpek was born on November 3, 1932, in Traer, the daughter of Emmanuel and Julia (Petra) Kolpek. She graduated from Traer High School in 1950 and then attended Gates Business College. Caroline worked for Waterloo Hoxie Fruit Company for 25 years and GMAC Mortgage Company until her retirement. She was a lover of cats and belonged to a cat club. She also had a big heart and loved helping people. Caroline died at the age of 88 on August 4, 2021, at Sunnycrest Nursing Center in Dysart. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Allen Kolpek. Caroline is survived by two nephews and her cousins. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at 10:00 AM, at Buckingham Cemetery in rural Traer.
