Ruth Ann Rayman

Ruth Ann Rayman, 87, of Clutier, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022, at the Sunrise Hill Care Center in Traer. Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 15, 2022, at 10:30 AM at the Clutier Community Church, 301 3rd St., Clutier. Interment will follow at Oneida Cemetery in rural Clutier. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 14, 2022, from 3-6 PM at the Clutier Community Church.

Ruth was born on June 16, 1935, on the family farm in Oneida Township in Tama County, Iowa, the daughter of Emil and Julia (Kosnar) Dostal.

She graduated from Clutier High School in 1953.

On January 26, 1954, she was united in marriage to Wayne Rayman at the Clutier Community Church. Ruth helped Wayne on the farm and raised her family. She was a member of the Clutier Community Church where she was in Women’s Christian Fellowship and a Sunday School teacher for many years. Ruth enjoyed working in her yard and gardening. She and Wayne enjoyed their day trips and dancing.

Survivors include her children: Janet (Dennis) Hosek, of Clutier, Lorie (Steve) Boell, of Maple Grove, MN and Alan (Diana) Rayman, of Huxley; eight grandchildren: Jason (Amy) Hosek, Justin (Jamie) Hosek, Jamie (Jason Heiar) Hosek, Ashley (Ryan) David, Tyler Boell, Tiffany (Corey) Fischer, Taylor Rayman and Matthew Rayman; twelve great grandchildren: Jonathan, Dylan, Clay, Ryan, Ethan, Mason, Ty, Jackson, Eleanor, Austin, Allie and Liam; one brother, Melvin Dostal, of Marshalltown; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Wayne; three brothers, Charlie Dostal, Joe Dostal and a brother in infancy, Aloysius; and one sister, Pauline Stodola.

Memorials may be directed to the Clutier Community Church.
