Craig Seebach

Craig lost his long battle with cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City at the age of 65. He was the son of Delos and Ramona Wieck Seebach. Craig graduated high school with the Class of 1977 from Dysart-Geneseo. He then attended Iowa State University and began an accounting career in Des Moines with KPMG. He relocated with them to New York City before starting work with Citibank. Following that he started a consulting career with Witness Systems and then as a VP with Verint. He retired July of 2023.

Craig married Wouter Van der Tol in Ameterdam in 2004 and split time between the U.S., the Netherlands and France. His husband, a professional photographer, has had several books published. Craig provided the narrative for several.

Craig is survived by his husband Wouter and three sisters: Deb Seebach, of Dysart, Marcia (Lon) Hoover, of Richland, WA, and Diane (Tom) Lammers, of Osh Kosh, WI, as well as a niece, nephew, two aunts, an uncle and numerous cousins. In Europe, he is survived by his sister-in-law Karin, Rob and Wouter Jr. as well as close family friends and godchildren.

He is blessed with a family of friends all over the world who were touched by his kindness, friendship and humor.

Craig was cremated. Memorial services will be held later in Houston, TX, and Amsterdam.

Donations in his name can be made to GIST, HPV Cancer Research Organizations or HPV vaccination programs to protect children.
