Delbert Hall

Delbert R. Hall, 78, of Waterloo, died Saturday, June 14 at Harmony Waterloo.

He was born July 8, 1946 in Waterloo, son of Glen and Georgia Dobson Hall. He was a graduate of Traer High School and a veteran of the United States Marines, 105 Howitzer Battery from 1965 to 1974. He was employed as a programmer Z Building with John Deere for 30 years, retiring in January of 2002.

Delbert enjoyed boating and fishing, especially at Beaver House Lodge, Minaki, Ontario, Canada. He loved to hunt pheasants and deer in the Traer area.

Survivors include: his son, Adam (Amanda) Hall, of Traer; two grandsons, Chaz and Griffin Hall both, of Traer; a cousin, Delores Jacobs, of Traer; and a long-time friend, Jim (Mary) Lowe, of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William Hall.

Memorial graveside services will be 10:30 Friday, June 20 at Buckingham Cemetery, Traer, where military rites will be conducted by the Traer American Legion.
