Keith Wendt

Keith Eugene Wendt died, at the age of 94, on April 21, 2026. Keith was born on May 7th, 1931 to Frank and Anna (Bonow) Wendt. Keith grew up around Traer, Iowa, went to school in Dinsdale Iowa. He loved going to auctions, and garage and estate sales. He collected old toys and enjoyed fixing them as well. He loved showing and telling stories of how he got the toys he collected.

He married Joan Meyers on October 30th, 1951 in Dysart, Iowa. They made their home just north of Traer where they farmed.

The couple had three children, Linda Mossman of Wisconsin, Eugene(Butch) (Tammy) Wendt, and Chet (Gloria) Wendt from Traer. He had many nieces and nephews as well as many grand, great grand and great great grandchildren.

Keith was preceded in death by his wife, son-in-law Steven Sendele, a great grandson David Johnson, one sister Artis, and two brothers, Kenneth and Leon Wendt.

Keith is survived by his children, One sister Beverly Santman, of Ohio.
