Herink Hayek engagement

Barb and the late Tony Hayek and Tammy and Kevin Herink of Clutier are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter and son, Shellina Hayek to Kyle Herink.

Shellina will be graduating from Iowa State University in May and will receive her Bachelor of Science in kinesiology. She will be attending the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Des Moines University beginning in August. Kyle will be graduating from Coe College this upcoming May and will receive his Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and political science.

Shellina is the granddaughter of the late Leonard and Lillian Hayek of Clutier and of Francis and Lucille Waldschmidt of Riverside. Kyle is the grandson of Margaret and the late Ernest Herink of Clutier and Shirley and the late Cortland Austin of Traer, and Robert and Sue Lyons of Ankeny.

The couple will be married on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Tama, Iowa with the reception to follow at the Traer Memorial Building.
