Jenna Meier of Davenport and Jon Soole of Peoria, Ill are planning a June wedding.

Parents of the couple are Nick and Nancy Meier of La Porte City and Rusty and Lisa Soole of Sioux City.

The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Industrial Engineering. She is an engineer at John Deere.

The groom-elect is a 2008 graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Materials Engineering. He is an engineer at Caterpillar.

The ceremony will take place June 11 at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Waterloo.
