New dining, shopping experience at Gypsy Souls

Gypsy Souls Up-cycle shop and Tea Room will be a new addition to Dysart in the coming days. A Gypsy Soul is a free spirit not confined to one place or one idea. This pretty much sums up Carol Zeien, owner of Imagine This, and Shawn Grimm, owner of Orphan Annies, in a nutshell.

Both have the love of change, and imaginations that never quit, they decided to join efforts and talents to create an extraordinary dining and shopping experience. The Grand Opening of the Tea Room will be March 19th, 20th and 21st. They will be serving four-course meals, and reservations will be required. This is just the first stage of the changes made by Carol and Shawn. In the next few months they will fill up the shop with unique hand painted furniture and one of a kind finds they have created themselves. These pieces will be available for purchase during their “occasional sales” held several times a year and during Main Street events. They will also be offering painting classes to inspire the Gypsy Soul in you.

An additional location for Imagine This will soon follow in May and will provide a another show place for our up-cycled creations. An old farm house on Highway 8 between Dysart and Traer is being transformed into a beautiful retail location that will be open Thursday through Saturday for your shopping enjoyment. A warm welcome and the many talents of these two women await you. Treat Yourself!
