Dysart will be welcoming another new business to town this month. KE Black Mercantile will be opening its doors April 1st, and they have a grand opening scheduled for the day of April 12th. The new store will be located in the former Community Service Insurance Building. They have done some pretty major renovations to the building in the last few months to help accommodate for the needs of the store. The building looks amazing, and so do the products they will be carrying.

They will also be carrying a variety of gourmet foods. One of which will be delicious gourmet mustard’s from Durango, Colorado. The store will also be carrying Cedar Ridge Winery & Distillery products. Be sure to stop by the store come April 1st and grab a delicious bottle of wine to take home!

KE Black Mercantiles owner is Katherine Bonewitz. She shared a wonderful story about how she chose the name for her new store. Katherine stated that her Grams maiden name was Black. She went on to say, “She was a little firecracker of a lady who loved to cook and dance and had an appreciation for all kinds of music. Grams liked to add wine to her deviled eggs and always snuck a sliver of pie but blamed it on the “mice”. “

Be sure to stop by KE Black Mercantile some time in April and congratulate Katherine on her success and new adventure! There will also be a coffee bar located in the back half of the store. You will be able to order coffee to go, or sit and chat with friends at the store! You will be able to find wonderful items to add to your kitchen and home, and don’t forget about the wine!
