Thanks to all of the wonderful blood donors who volunteered their time to make a life-saving blood donation at the recent Dysart community blood drive. A total of 39 people registered to donate blood and 40 units of blood were collected at this blood drive. A special thanks also goes out to Dwayne Luze and Dysart Lions Club for helping to organize and sponsor this blood drive. Committed volunteers are key to maintaining the blood supply in our local community. Life Serve Blood Center is the 15th largest blood center in the country and provides blood and blood products to more than 100 hospitals located across Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota.
