Taste of Dysart 10th Annual Fall Festival
Mark your calendars, you are not going to want to miss out on this! The annual Fall Festival is back and celebrating its 10th anniversary this year! You won’t want to miss out on the wonderful festivities that are planned. The event will be held this Saturday, September 27th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Main Street in Dysart.
The Taste of Dysart Annual Fall Festival has been a staple in our community for the last decade now, and is one that will surely be around for many more decades to come! On Saturday visitors will travel from all across the state to enjoy delicious local wines and shop at all of the wonderful stores here in our beautiful town. At this year’s event, like many in the past you pay a small fee and receive a commemorative wine glass with a logo. Everyone is invited from store to store to sample wine from several different Iowa wineries. There will also be specialty vendor booths set up along main street as well as delicious food carts. You will also be able to enjoy music by the Getaway city Band which played at last years event and is from right here in Dysart!
Just a few of the wineries that were present last year were, The John Ernest Vineyard and Winery from Tama, Fox Ridge Winery from Traer, Fireside Winery from Marengo, Brick Arch Winery from West Branch, Heartland Harvest Winery from Fort Madison, Santa Maria Vineyard and Winery from Carroll, and Park Farm Winery from Bankston. This year you will be able to find your classic favorites and you will also be able to check out some amazing new wines and wineries!
Rain or shine the event will still take place so grab a friend or two and head downtown to an evening you won’t be able to forget! After the wine tasting is over follow the crowd over to Chelle’s for a delicious meal to wrap up the night with great friends and neighbors! The Taste of Dysart’s Fall Wine Tasting Festival is brought to you annually by the Dysart Development Corporation and the Dysart Business Builders. This event would not take place without several other volunteers, the featured Iowa wineries, and our wonderful local business’s support, so thank you to everyone for your hard work!
