The American Academy of Nursing awarded Colleen J. Goode as one of the Living Legends of 2014, the highest honor awarded by the Academy of Nursing.

Colleen is a highly regarded nurse executive, researcher, and professional nurse innovator, both nationally and internationally. Colleen freely gives of her scholarship and knowledge, contributing to the Academy and other professional organizations through service on boards, committees, and projects. Her distinguished career represents a lifelong passion for the advancement of professional nursing.

Dr. Goode is a former Geneseo resident and a graduate of Geneseo High School. She currently lives in Westminster, Colorado.
