The La Porte-Dysart FFA Chapter will be selling fresh-baked holiday cookies on December 6 from 8:30-11:30 during the “Christmas On Main” festivities. Cookie varieties will include decorated or undecorated cut-out cookies, press cookies, pecan tassies, peanutbutter blossom, holly, and almond raspberry. Buyers can pick out whatever varieties they choose for $10 a pound and have them packaged in bakery boxes. All proceeds will go to the chapter’s “Hunger Blitz” program which involves packaging non-perishable meals for distribution around the world. Last year, the high school packaged nearly 30,000 meals.
