FCSLA W130 holds meeting

Re-elected officers of the FCSLA met at the Warren Colvin home on January 18th, to complete the annual activity report for the home office and set dates for this coming year’s activities. All officers were present including President Paul Svoboda, Vice-President Bev Colvin, Secretary David Svoboda, Treasurer Shirley Kubik, and trustees Warren Colvin, Freddie Kubik, and Richard Linhart.

This year’s Palm Sunday Brunch will be held on Sunday, March 29, Summer Picnic on Sunday, July 9, and Christmas Party on Sunday, December 13, 2015. All events will be held at the Clutier Legion Hall.

Members are encouraged to attend the FCSLA matching funds benefit for the Matt Grace family to be held on Saturday, January 24 at the Belle Plaine Legion Hall. A free will pulled pork sandwich supper will begin at 4:00. Baked goods for the bake sale from members would be appreciated.

A summer trip to the Amana’s is being planned and more details will be available at the Brunch in March.
