The Dysart-Geneseo Elementary school is excited to announce the formation of a Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). A PTO is a formal organization that consists of parents, teachers, and school staff. Through volunteerism, the PTO will work with the school to support and enhance the educational experiences of the students by partnering with the community, strengthening communication with teachers, and promoting opportunities to encourage parental involvement.

All parents of D-G students are invited and encouraged to be part of the PTO. The newly elected PTO Board includes:

Our first PTO project, “Operation Warmth” was a great success! Thanks to the generous support of the community, gently used coats, hats, and mittens were received and donated to the school. Our next PTO event is a family game night. On March 26, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, current DG Elementary families and teachers are invited to meet at the school to play games, enjoy snacks, and win door prizes.
