Celebrate Christian Education and United Methodist Church Camps at the Dysart United Methodist Church on May 3 at 9 a.m.

Rev. David Hobbs, the Iowa United Methodist Leadership Development Minister for Camps and Christian Education will be here to help us celebrate Camp Sunday. He will bring a fun message about United Methodist Church Camps. There will be something for every age!

New this year! The Confirmation class and Pastor Linda are hosting and serving a pasta and meatball dinner on May 3 at 11:30 a.m. All are invited! The free will donation will go to help pay the way for children and youth who have no church home to go to one of the three United Methodist Church camps in Iowa.

If you have been to a church camp, this is the year to go again! Catalogues and registration forms are available at the church or go on line www.iaumc.org. Camperships/scholarships are available for our members to go to United Methodist Church Camps. Even if a child or youth does not have a church home, he/she can apply for a camp scholarship to a United Methodist Church at Dysart UMC.

Invite your friends who have no church to go to camp with you! If you have never been to church camp, this is the year to go! Contact our camps coordinator, Marcia Knupp, or Pastor Linda, for more information.
