ISU hosting camp in Tama Co. June 12

ISU Extension and Outreach, Tama County, will be hosting day camps this summer. We’ll be bubbling with excitement at the day camp on June 12, 2015. We’ll build bubble blowers and actually go inside a giant bubble. Bubble crafts, snacks and experiments will help us discover the fun and science of bubbles.

We will also be hosting “Blast Off With Rockets” day camp on June 26, 2015. Youth are invited to join the fun and learn about gravity, space, and rockets through crafts, games and other interactive experiences. Youth will create their own rockets to blast off!!

Camp is open to all youth having completed Kindergarten – Third grades during the 2014-2015 school year. Camps will be held at the Traer Park.

The fun will begin at 9:00 a.m. and goes until 3:00 p.m. Cost is $15. Everyone is asked to bring a sack lunch, beverage and snacks will be provided.
