Sunday, May 16 marked a special day for several of our area youth as they graduated from high school. The graduation ceremony was held at Union High School in La Porte City. Family and friends were invited to come and proudly watch as their loved ones received their diplomas.

It is without doubt that the Class of 2015 is full of shining stars with bright futures. Several seniors decided to continue their path in sports by signing on to play in college, while others took the more academic route. Some students plan to stay on the family farm. All of these are great choices made by a wonderful and inspiring group of young adults.

Congratulations to the Class of 2015! Enjoy you last summer of freedom before you head off and start your new adventures.
