Buffalo Bill program at Tama Co. Museum
The program for July 1, 2015 at the Tama County Museum will be about Buffalo Bill, the title being “He Never Missed and He Never Will”.
Wiliam F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody was born near LeClaire, Iowa in 1846. By the end of his life he had become what some have called “the most famous American in the world.” A Pony Express rider, an Army scout, a buffalo hunter for the railroad, he founded the starred in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show, traveling the world for thirty years.
Roy Behrens will talk about the legendry life of Iowa’s native son; his triumphs, his tragedies, his famous friends, using vintage photographs and film clips.
The program will be Wednesday, July 1, at 7:00 o’clock at the Tama County Museum, 200 North Broadway, Toledo. The program is free and everyone is invited. Light refreshments will be served following the program.
