DCF grant helps fund reading program

The Norma Anders Public Library recently received a grant from the Dysart Community Foundation to support the cost of its 2015 childrens’ summer reading program, “Every Hero Has a Story.” At back left above Rachelle Frost, summer reading program coordinator, accepts a check from Marilyn Mehlhaus, DCF representative for the Dysart Women’s Club. The Dysart Community Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, receives contributions and permanent Endowment funds from the public, realizes investment income from its resources for community initiatives, and reviews grant applications for funding distribution through a competitive process annually to enhance the quality of life in the Dysart community.
