Nomination papers are now available at Dysart City Hall for the upcoming municipal election. The office of Mayor and two City Council seats are up for election on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Candidate filing begins on Monday, August 24, 2015. All nomination papers must be submitted to the Tama County Auditor by 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 17, 2015.

PLEASE NOTE Due to a change in state law, papers must now be filed directly with the Tama County Auditor, 104 West State Street, Toledo, Iowa. Papers cannot be accepted at the office of the City Clerk.

Candidates must be a resident of the City, and an eligible elector, meeting the same qualifications as required to register to vote.
