It has been a few years since the Dysart Tree Board has done an inventory of low hanging branches over sidewalks and streets, However, a few reports concerning problems have come to the attention of the Tree Board, and property owners are encouraged to check their trees over sidewalks and streets. The Dysart City Tree Ordinance specifies that trees should be a least eight feet above city sidewalks and fifteen feet above the street. If residents have questions or need assistance with trimming, please contact City Hall or a Tree Board member for names of tree trimmers.
