Youngblut AG gives farmers 21st century tools of the trade

Pete Youngblut, native of Dysart graduated from Union High School in 2004, he then continued his education at Hawkeye Community College where he graduated with a degree in Ag Business Management in 2006. Pete then met his future wife Whitney, who was born and raised in Clutier, they married in September of 2012 and now reside here in Dysart.

At the same time Pete was planning to marry the love of his life and start their future together, he was also getting his new business off the ground, Youngblut AG. Pete didn’t let his full plate get to him, he persevered through the long nights, and even months to build his business up. Pete had been running the business out of his home for the last three years. Which actually worked alright since a lot of the work is best done on site, at his customers farms.

Youngblut AG specializes in GPS and computer equipment for farm machinery. Over the past several years GPS and computer monitoring in farm equipment has basically become the normal, and also essential. Farmers rely on this cutting edge technology to help increase the amount of crops they are able to yield. With equipment such as this, it makes planting and harvesting more precise and accurate, helping to get the absolute most out of every inch of soil.

Although the business was going great out of the home, Pete decided he wanted to take it to the next level and open a store front. This would allow Pete the ability to directly display and showcase everything he offers at Youngblut AG. This also opened a new door of opportunities for the company as the addition of a store front allows Youngblut AG to obtain the proper licenses and paperwork required to be able to work direct with the manufactures, instead of having to use third party. This provides many benefits and helps pass along cost savings right down to you, the customer.

Be sure to stop down and check out the new store front on Main Street and get some education on the most modern, cutting edge equipment that helps our local farmers do what they do best! Congratulations Pete, and Youngblut AG, you are a great addition to our wonderful Main Street Businesses!
