La Porte City Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Chocolate Walk on Thursday, October 8, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. There will be two starting locations: La Porte City Golf Club, 9699 Bishop Ave., La Porte City; and Funky Monkey Vintage Finds, 308 Hwy. 218N. The Chamber will be handing out bags to carry your chocolate treats in at these two locations for $1 each. A list of the businesses participating in the Walk and a punch card will be included with the bag.

There will be a Grand Prize drawing at 8:30 p.m. at the FFA Historical and Ag Museum, 408 Main St., La Porte City. To enter the drawing, the punch card will need to be punched at each of the participating businesses and dropped off at the FFA Historical and Ag Museum prior to the drawing. The winner of the grand prize will not need to be present to win.
