The FCSLA Christmas party was held on Sunday, December 13, at the Clutier Legion Hall. The 34 members in attendance were treated to a lunch of chili, maidrites, and bars. After lunch the annual meeting was held. Special guest was Steve Rosauer, sales agent for our local lodge, who spoke about life insurance policies and annuities available to members. The secretary and treasurer reports were read and approved. The lodge again purchased boxes of Kleenex for area nursing home residents and members delivered them to the nursing homes before Christmas. Election of officers was held. Officers remaining in office for another year are President: Paul Svoboda, Vice-President: Bev Colvin , Secretary: David Svoboda, Treasurer: Shirley Kubik, Trustees: Warren Colvin and Richard Linhart., and newly elected trustee Michael Kubik. Members were treated to candy, peanuts, pop, and apples before heading for home. Door prizes were won by Pat Kubik and Delores Yuska.
