Wolf Creek to present new play

Drinking Habits is a full-length play with accusations, mistaken identities and lots of laughs will be shown the first weekend of March at the Wolf Creek Players Theater. Shows will be Friday, March 4 at 7:00 p.m., Saturday March 5 at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday. March 6 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Joseph’s building in Dysart.

Two nuns at the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing have been secretly making wine to keep the convent’s doors open, but Paul and Sally, reporters and former fiances, are hot on their trail. They go undercover as a nun and priest, but their presence, combined with the addition of a new nun, spurs paranoia throughout the convent that spies have been sent from Rome to shut them down. Wine and secrets are inevitably spilled as everyone tries to preserve the convent and reconnect with lost loves. Play written by Tom Smith and produced by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc. Directed by Deb Kloster.

Cast members include: Sandy Hulst, Reta Callahan, Missie Purdy, Valerie Ryan, Zach Kennedy, Jana Ryan and two new cast members Richard Arp and Mason Scott.
