DDC hosting annual meeting, appreciation night April 12
The Dysart Development Corp. (DDC) will be holding its’ annual meeting/appreciation night, Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Dysart Community Building. The DDC is a non-profit community development organization open to all citizens.
In the Dysart area. Goals of the group include supporting businesses, and assisting in community revitalization. The DDC identifies, supports and helps to organize local community events and projects.
The DDC does not compete with the fundraising by member organizations, instead counts on memberships, donations and memorials to meet an operating budget.
We encourage all residents and businesses to attend the appreciation soup supper meeting, and see the progress that has been made to make Dysart “A City On the Grow” and a place we are proud to call home! Get a sneak preview of the Dysart Historical Society’s exhibit “It Takes an Iowan” and attend a social hour 4th of July fundraiser sponsored by Club Dysart upstairs in the Community Building before the DDC event downstairs. DDC registration and exhibits will be open at 6 p.m., a free soup supper starts about 6:30 p.m. and a short business meeting with updates of projects and events sponsored by the DDC will be given, including an update on talks with Western Home for a senior or assisted living facility in Dysart.
